Sanebox Amplifies Earned Media To Drive Qualified Traffic

Sanebox, an email service that automatically filters and prioritizes your inbox, faced a customer-acquisition “filtering” problem: their channels weren’t delivering enough qualified traffic to meet goals. Their objective was to increase sign-ups for the free two-week trial while lowering cost per acquisition (CPA).

Sanebox used Outbrain to seed third-party product reviews on engaged publisher sites and recommended those articles to likely readers, then optimized toward articles driving the most homepage visits and trial sign-ups. The campaign produced 80–100 trial conversions per day at the desired CPA and has amplified over 40 product reviews to date.
