CBR Fashion Group, owner of the Street One and CECIL brands and a top-five women’s fashion supplier in Germany, faced intense competition and heavy ad pressure around Black Friday weekend and aimed to maximize sales during this critical period. With large seasonal traffic and many discount offers, the challenge was to reach and convert the right customers efficiently amid high advertising noise.
Using Outbrain Amplify and Custom Audiences, CBR targeted fashion-interested users across premium publisher sites and retargeted recent site visitors in the month leading up to Black Friday, then ran focused sales campaigns over the weekend. The campaign drove a 66% higher conversion rate for CECIL versus display, reduced cost/sales ratios (improvements of 65% for Street One and 43% for CECIL), achieved a minimum cost/sales ratio of 29%, and lowered eCPC (‑37% vs. social, ‑23% vs. display).
