Bayer Raises Awareness About Women’s Movement with Outbrain

Bayer, a global leader in healthcare, partnered with agency Crane to launch the "Freedom Comes from Within" movement to spark conversation about women’s health, sexuality and modern contraceptive options. The challenge was to raise broad awareness through an all-digital campaign and extend reach on the open web beyond social, search and display channels.

Bayer ran native ads with Outbrain using Standard Smartads and Interest Targeting, tracking actions with a multiple conversion pixel and directing audiences to a page detailing contraceptive methods. The campaign delivered 19+ million impressions (Outbrain produced over one-third of total impressions), achieved the second-best CPM and CPA across channels, and benefited from ongoing optimization and close collaboration between teams.
