Sky, Europe’s largest media company and pay-TV broadcaster with over 23 million customers, needed to grow and better engage audiences for flagship properties like Sky News and Sky Sports while supporting commercial initiatives such as Sky Box Office. The goal was audience development—driving users to relevant editorial content and increasing sign-ups and revenue.

Sky integrated Outbrain’s Smartfeed for dynamic, personalized recommendations and used Outbrain’s Audience Campaigns (accessible in the Outbrain Dashboard) to promote its own editorial content across organic placements. The effort delivered 289 campaigns, 6 billion listings displayed and generated 3 million additional page views, producing a measurable uplift in audience engagement and commercial results.
