Breuninger, a 140-year-old German fashion retailer, partnered with Brand Studio to reignite attention for its Autumn/Winter collection after a successful Spring/Summer launch. The challenge was to create high-impact, custom ad experiences that would stand out from standard display and drive deeper engagement and brand consideration across open-web audiences.

Using Outbrain’s Onyx branding platform, Brand Studio developed a swipeable rich-media unit with reactive banners for male and female lines and user-initiated 10‑second videos. The campaign delivered strong results: attention was +70% vs. standard display, CTR was 2x other display channels, engagement reached 17%, exposure time was +34% vs. category benchmark, video start rate was 73%, and the female creative showed higher completion (+10%) and 3x more unmuting—driving more site visits and measurable shopping actions.
