Liebherr Home Appliances and Brand Studio reimagine video storytelling on Onyx, unlocking attention from US audiences

Liebherr Home Appliances needed to launch its premium OpenDrawer refrigerator to a design- and tech‑savvy US audience and wanted more than a standard ad: the brand needed video that invited exploration and held attention at the moment people were most receptive. The challenge was to elevate campaign video with playable, explorable features that would engage a premium, consideration‑ready audience.

Brand Studio created four custom players for Onyx Contextual Pre‑Roll, using contextual and city‑based targeting and user‑initiated interactive features and animations to deepen engagement. The approach drove strong results — each design delivered over 30% engagement, the campaign achieved a 38% overall engagement rate, 79% viewability and +20% higher attention versus the benchmark — with the “Expanded” player proving the top performer.
