Omroep Zeeland, part of Omroep Reclame Nederland (ORN) and one of Zeeland’s leading publishers with over 2 million monthly visitors, faced shifting consumer habits and growing industry demands to improve user experience and monetization. As a publicly owned outlet it also needed to carefully balance paid and organic content while boosting engagement and revenue.
To meet this challenge they implemented Outbrain’s Smartlogic, a feed solution that dynamically optimizes content arrangement and formats and lets the publisher control the organic‑paid recommendation ratio.
