Doritos (Strauss Israel / Strauss Frito Lay) partnered with Outbrain Brand Studio to engage snackers and introduce its new blue tortilla chip, Dippas. Working from an in-house digital unit with external support, the brand needed a playful, memorable campaign that showcased the chip as the go-to snack for sharing and hosting and drove higher engagement than typical CPG efforts.

Outbrain deployed custom animated, swipeable creatives and opt-in video experiences that invited users to interact on the open web. The campaign delivered strong outcomes — 5.5x higher engagement versus the CPG category, a 3.44% touch rate, a 68% video start rate for user-initiated plays, and swipes that drove 10x better engagement — while improving CTR and cost efficiency.
