Filters Fast, a leading U.S. filtration retailer, faced a sudden surge in consumer demand for regular air and water filter deliveries during COVID-19 and needed to turn one-time buyers into reliable recurring customers. To meet that challenge, Filters Fast partnered with Ordergroove and launched a subscription strategy (Home Filter Club / Subscribe & Save) using Ordergroove’s subscription platform and features like Instant Upsell and prescriptive shipping cadences.
Ordergroove’s solution made subscribing simple—customers pick filters, set delivery frequency, get free shipping and discounts (10% on private-label, 5% on OEM), and can easily add items—while Ordergroove recovered 39% of eligible expired cards. The results: eCommerce revenue grew 300%, new subscribers rose 183% YoY, average monthly retention held at 96–98%, an 8% lift in total orders from recovered cards, and roughly 10% of monthly recurring revenue attributed to those recoveries.
