How Door County Coffee uses Ordergroove and Klaviyo to personalize seasonal upsell campaigns to grow recurring revenue

Door County Coffee, a family-owned coffee company, needed a more flexible subscription experience than their homegrown system and previous third-party app could provide. They wanted subscribers to be able to manage recurring orders more easily and add seasonal products without creating extra friction or shipping costs. Ordergroove helped them move to a more scalable subscription platform integrated with their BigCommerce store and Klaviyo.

With Ordergroove, Door County Coffee enabled subscriber-friendly order management, non-subscription upsells, and personalized seasonal campaigns through Klaviyo. The results were strong: a 109% increase in active subscribers in the first year, 17% of recurring revenue driven by upsells, and 56% of upsells coming from seasonal SKUs. Door County Coffee also reported that 11% of total annual sales now come from subscription orders.
