Santander Consumer Finance in Chile was looking for a platform to support its business model as it expanded in the automotive financing market. The company needed a more modern tool to improve data processing, streamline workflows, raise service quality, and respond more quickly to customer needs, so it chose Oracle Service Cloud.
Oracle Service Cloud was implemented with Oracle RightNow Engage and Oracle RightNow Cloud Service to support more personalized communication and automated approval processes. Santander Consumer Finance said the platform reduced verification and response time to about seven minutes from as much as one hour, enabled processes that are 100% automated, and helped increase business volume by 116% in 2016; in a year-to-year comparison for January 2015 to January 2016, business grew by 35%.
