REDISA Starts New Era in African Waste Stream Management, Launches Scrap Tire Initiative in Just 60 Days with Out-of-the-Box Technology

REDISA NPC, a non-profit organization in South Africa, set out to build a country-wide waste tire management plan and needed to become operational quickly after government approval. With Oracle Service Cloud and other Oracle solutions, REDISA aimed to support fee collection, logistics, recruiting, and customer care for its new initiative.

Oracle provided an integrated platform that helped REDISA launch the initiative just two months after approval, using out-of-the-box functionality to set up billing, logistics, and customer care. REDISA also used Oracle Financials, Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle Taleo Recruiting Cloud Service, and Oracle Database to manage revenue, coordinate more than 1,600 pick-up activities per week, onboard staff, and secure core data.
