Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and the world’s largest carpet manufacturer with $5B in revenue and 23,000 employees, opened a 210,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Nantong, China to serve Asian markets. The solution streamlined China production (work orders, WIP, lot control, standard costing), cut delivery lead times by several weeks, provided on-demand global financial consolidation and operational transparency, and positioned Shaw for agile international expansion with a lean IT footprint.
