Wine.com Launches New Division in Record Time with NetSuite

Wine.com, a San Francisco–based retailer and wholesaler, needed to launch a new division, Wine.com Logistics, at the end of 2009 with an extremely limited timeframe and required an IT platform that could be operational in time to capture holiday-season sales.

Wine.com selected NetSuite ERP and used SuiteCloud Connect to integrate the new division with its system of record via Web Services. NetSuite met the tight deadline, enabled direct data flow between customers and the parent system, helped close significant December business, and delivered substantial cost and labor savings—allowing Wine.com to avoid hiring permanent IT staff.
