White Labs Brews Up Growth, Efficiency to Capitalize on Explosion of Craft Beer Industry

White Labs, a San Diego–based supplier of liquid yeast founded 22 years ago, experienced rapid demand from the booming craft beer market but was constrained by disparate systems—GoldMine for CRM, BusinessWorks for accounting and homegrown manufacturing and e-commerce tools—that limited visibility and created inefficient, spreadsheet-driven processes. With operations across the U.S., Denmark and Hong Kong and plans to scale, the company needed a unified platform to manage financials, manufacturing and international operations.

White Labs implemented NetSuite OneWorld along with Quality Management, Fixed Assets Management and Site Builder, using the ERP rollout to streamline processes and automate production forecasting for 200 yeast strains produced in 90 vessels. The unified dashboards consolidated customer, financial and production data, improving efficiency, visibility, product quality and customer service—and enabling the company to continue growing at scale.
