UK-based Linen Service Scrubs Out Legacy IT Systems, Cleans Up

CLEAN is a UK-based linen and workwear service with roots stretching back 120 years, serving about 5,500 customers across hospitality, food manufacturing, automotive and other sectors. Rapid growth and a string of acquisitions left the company with fragmented, legacy IT — multiple finance, payroll and CRM systems — creating data silos and inefficiencies that needed consolidation.

CLEAN implemented NetSuite ERP to centralize financials, customer service and purchasing, and introduced a customer portal to automate billing. The move reduced month-end close from 11 days to four, automates roughly 8,000 invoices a month, streamlined operations and freed the business to focus on expansion and continued investment in high‑tech, efficient laundry facilities.
