Tranglo is a Malaysia-based cross-border payments provider founded in 2008 that processes more than US$1 billion in transactions per month for banks and mobile operators across 100+ countries, serving 1.5 billion people. Facing rapid growth, Tranglo needed a technology platform to improve operational efficiency, support scaling across multiple currencies and subsidiaries, and enable new financial services.
Tranglo implemented Oracle NetSuite OneWorld to unify accounting and financial processes, manage reporting, transaction and wallet activity in three currencies, and integrate with in-house systems. The deployment cut transaction clearing time from two days to under two minutes, supported monthly transaction growth (from US$20M to US$100M) with minimal finance headcount increase, and provided the visibility needed to develop new services and pursue a long-term expansion roadmap.
