Case Study: Thrillist achieves 50% revenue growth and saves two finance FTEs with Oracle NetSuite

A Oracle NetSuite Case Study

Preview of the Thrillist Case Study

Thrillist Gets a Platform for Growth with NetSuite Implementation by MIG & Co.

Thrillist, a fast-growing New York–based media and ecommerce company aimed at men ages 18–35, outgrew its QuickBooks and on‑premise systems as it expanded into new markets, advertisers and fulfillment locations. The legacy setup lacked scalability and real‑time visibility across its Manhattan headquarters, Brooklyn warehouse and Ohio customer service operation, creating reporting delays and inefficiencies for finance and sales teams.

Thrillist implemented NetSuite ERP with design, data migration and training from partner MIG & Co., plus a Concur SuiteApp for time and expense. The move consolidated financials, enabled budgeting and forecasting, streamlined invoicing and ecommerce reconciliation, and freed the equivalent of about two full‑time finance roles. Within a year of the July 2012 go‑live Thrillist revenue rose 50%, and the company plans to deploy NetSuite Advanced Inventory for its Brooklyn warehouse.
