TECHO Streamlines Finances, Focuses its Efforts on Overcoming Poverty with NetSuite OneWorld

TECHO is a nonprofit working to overcome poverty across 19–20 Latin American countries. As the organization grew, separate accounting systems in each country left TECHO without consolidated financial visibility or the transparency needed to maintain donor and stakeholder trust and combat corruption.

TECHO implemented NetSuite OneWorld (with partner 3KSYS), rolling it out to seven countries in a three-month effort with the remaining offices planned to follow. The single-instance solution cut TECHO’s semi-annual financial close from four–five months to 10 days, produced an extra $250,000 in interest income in Argentina, costs about half of competing solutions, and delivered improved transparency and centralized data to support big-data initiatives and stronger stakeholder engagement.
