A Oracle NetSuite Case Study
Sugatsune Shanghai, the Shanghai-based subsidiary of 80-year-old cabinet-hardware maker Sugatsune, faced limited scalability and poor visibility from its legacy on-premise ERP. Employees relied on manual Excel reports and executives and salespeople could not access real-time financial or inventory data while on the road, constraining growth and operational efficiency.
In 2014 the company implemented NetSuite ERP and CRM with partner Hitpoint, replacing Kingdee, legacy warehouse/logistics software and Excel. NetSuite automated financials, inventory management and reporting, delivered real-time dashboards and a 360° customer view, improved sales, service and multi-location fulfillment, and enabled data-driven expansion into new regions and direct-to-consumer sales.
