Starview International, a Singapore-based distributor of telecommunications equipment with under 20 employees and about $6M in annual revenue, nearly doubled its revenue in its first year but faced manual customer-tracking and accounting processes that threatened further growth. Founder Joe Choo wanted a cloud-based, scalable system to support expansion and selected NetSuite to replace those manual workflows.

With NetSuite ERP implemented by Shearwater Asia in 2011, Starview automated inventory and order management for some 300 customers—generating email acknowledgements and delivery dates—and gained robust reporting and visibility into sales and contract renewals. The platform eliminated the need for new back-office hires, improved customer experience, and gave management the real-time insight to make faster decisions and scale the business.
