Sea to Table Catches On, Sustainably Uniting Fishermen and Chefs

Sea to Table is a Brooklyn-based, B Corporation seafood distributor that connects local fishermen with chefs and campus dining programs. Launched on Tobago in 2005, the company needed a flexible, cloud-based system that could scale rapidly, provide end-to-end transparency and traceability across multiple ports, and support its environmental and economic sustainability commitments.

Sea to Table implemented NetSuite (including SuiteCommerce, CRM, Inventory Management and Order/Financials) to automate processes, integrate with FedEx for next-day dock-to-chef delivery, and track flash-frozen inventory and supplier/customer payments. The platform enabled growth to more than 600 restaurant and university customers, expanded traceability across two dozen ports, reduced manual work with ACH invoicing, supported staff growth, and is now powering a SuiteCommerce storefront and mobile-enabled real‑time catch listings.
