A Oracle NetSuite Case Study
NoaNet (Northwest Open Access Network) is a Tacoma‑based nonprofit wholesale broadband provider focused on delivering high‑speed service to underserved rural communities in Washington. As the organization nearly doubled its network to 3,000 miles, multiple standalone systems (QuickBooks, ServMan, Access, Excel) created manual data work, reporting gaps and an overburdened IT team, while field staff and remote employees needed faster, cloud‑accessible information to maintain service levels.
NoaNet implemented NetSuite ERP with Advanced Projects and CRM to create a single, cloud‑based platform. The change improved data integrity, tied sales orders to services for per‑project costing, simplified time and expense reporting, and replaced six disparate applications. As a result NoaNet halved quote turnaround time, sped order fulfillment and invoicing, reduced IT maintenance and consultant costs (avoiding a full‑time IT hire), and better supports sales and customer service for its network serving more than 260,000 end customers.
