MicroVentures Supports Neighborhood Stores to Help Drive Philippine Economy

MicroVentures Inc. is a Philippines-based nonprofit that trains and supports neighborhood micro-businesses—many led by women—to strengthen local economies. Facing fragmented systems for financials and databases (relying on Microsoft Office), the organization needed a centralized, auditable platform to scale projects and attract partners.

With a NetSuite.org grant and implementation by TechForGood, MicroVentures deployed NetSuite ERP (and is rolling out CRM), consolidating data and financial reporting. The outcome: faster decision-making, stronger donor and partner reporting, activation of 470 new stores in six months (in half the previous time), and a reduction in data staff from three to one.
