A Oracle NetSuite Case Study
meinestadt.de, a German online marketplace that helps users find jobs, cars, homes and partners across 11,000 cities and the leading job market for vocational professionals, needed a more flexible ERP during a 2012 strategic realignment. The company sought a centralized database and real‑time transparency to manage growing, changing commercial processes and selected NetSuite OneWorld with implementation partner Alta Via (project began Nov 2013 and went live 1 Jan 2014).
NetSuite delivered an agile, integrated solution that connects the portal to finance via REST, web services and server‑to‑server links, automatically creating orders and invoices and archiving PDFs in the web shop. As a result, finance and controlling now have real‑time data and can produce monthly reports by the second working day, while automated order/invoice processing handles both self‑service and large‑account workflows and the platform remains open for CRM, HR and incoming‑invoice integrations.
