Lemonway Expands Its Payment Processing Business Across Europe With NetSuite OneWorld

Lemonway, a Paris-based fintech founded in 2007, provides payment processing, wallet management and third-party payment services to more than 7,400 European marketplaces (including about 200 crowdfunding platforms). Rapid growth strained its legacy Sage financial system—reporting and FP&A were cumbersome, invoicing was labor intensive, and the system couldn’t be easily adapted to the company’s needs.

Lemonway migrated to NetSuite OneWorld (chosen over SAP Business ByDesign), which halved invoice generation time from 10 days to five, reduced errors and customer-service issues, and made reporting highly configurable (adding a field in seconds). The company can now manage international subsidiaries more efficiently with a small finance team and plans further improvements—targeting a three-day invoicing process and adding planning, dunning and revenue management.
