Jive Software, a Palo Alto–based provider of cloud enterprise collaboration, faced rapidly increasing complexity as it expanded globally. Reliant on QuickBooks and Excel, the fast‑growing company needed a flexible, scalable ERP and a reliable system of record to support growth, international operations and plans for an IPO while eliminating labor‑intensive manual processes and lack of visibility.

Jive implemented NetSuite OneWorld with NetSuite Financial Planning and OpenAir PSA, using SuiteCloud customizations and a phased rollout plus partner integrations (Adaptive Insights, Avalara, Dell Boomi). The result: streamlined global consolidation and multi‑currency transactions, improved revenue recognition, budgeting and project billing, preparation for a successful IPO in late 2011, and growth to $145.8M revenue in 2013, a tripling of revenue since 2010 and a fourfold increase in staff with about 900 customers.
