Institute of HeartMath, a Boulder Creek-based nonprofit that helps people lower stress and build resilience, faced fragmented, “spaghetti” systems: an outsourced web store that didn’t sync with CRM, months-long customer data gaps, and a small staff without the resources to manage an on-premise solution.

The organization implemented NetSuite ERP, SuiteCommerce and CRM through the NetSuite.org program and volunteer support, integrating the webstore and fulfillment house via API and routing webform data straight into CRM. The solution gave real-time browser-based financial access, customizable fields across education, research and fundraising, and a unified view of constituents—enabling a revamped store that funds operations, supporting over a million services last year, and saving the equivalent of a full-time IT role and additional staff time.
