Hanover Direct, a 102-year-old bedding and home furnishings retailer in Weehawken, NJ, was constrained by legacy mainframe and ERP systems, a homegrown CRM, dozens of fragile point-to-point integrations, and a large, costly data center. These limitations prevented the company from adapting to omnichannel shoppers, slowed business processes, and left leadership without timely visibility into orders, inventory and customer data.

Hanover consolidated onto NetSuite (OneWorld, Financials, Inventory/Order Management, CRM and Manufacturing) and integrated its Demandware ecommerce storefronts via SuiteCloud, creating a single cloud platform across brands and channels. The transformation cut data center hardware dramatically (95 devices to 25), eliminated legacy maintenance, delivered real-time order/inventory/customer visibility, enabled same-day order fulfillment instead of once-a-day batches, unified CRM for 140 call-center agents, and streamlined procure-to-pay and multi-brand financial reporting.
