A Oracle NetSuite Case Study
Uptime is a Paris-based elevator maintenance startup (founded in 2016) that uses sensors and algorithms to deliver predictive maintenance for more than 1,000 elevators across France, improving transparency and reducing breakdowns in a market where elevators average five failures a year despite mandatory visits. While its service model is data-driven, Uptime’s back office relied on Google Drive and Excel for accounting, creating manual, time-consuming payment processing and preventing the integrated digital foundation the founders wanted.
Uptime implemented NetSuite ERP for its flexibility and ability to replace spreadsheets and disparate tools. The change cut supplier payment processing from three hours for 50 payments to 30 minutes for over 100, improved financial visibility for the leadership team, enabled quality-based contracts and customer transparency, and set the company up to automate further and make data-driven decisions as it expands across France and Europe.
