Formation Continue UNIL‑EPFL, the joint continuing education program of the University of Lausanne and EPFL in Lausanne, faced fragmented prospect data, poor data quality and a small team overwhelmed by manual Excel/Outlook/Word processes. This made it hard to target audiences, measure marketing success and manage communication preferences across thousands of prospects.
The program implemented NetSuite CRM+ and Marketing (chosen over Salesforce and rolled out by AJA Solutions), leveraging Mac compatibility and on‑time, on‑budget deployment. The centralized CRM enabled precise segmenting, saved‑searches, HTML campaigns and self‑service preference management, boosting marketing productivity, reducing print costs and helping drive nearly 3,000 student enrollments per year.
