China-based Unity Hardware Gains New Business Agility with NetSuite

Unity Hardware is a China-based manufacturer and B2B wholesaler of stainless steel and aluminum door hardware that outgrew its custom-built ERP. The homegrown system was inflexible, error-prone and required heavy manual effort, limiting the company’s ability to respond to rising labor costs, new competition and expansion into new markets.

Unity implemented cloud-based NetSuite (recommended by a U.S. partner) with support from Vantis Solutions to replace on-premise systems and automate sales, reporting and order processing. The NetSuite deployment added multi-lingual support and real-time reporting, cut sales staff from eight to two, recovered three days of weekly manual reporting, streamlined around 2,000 annual orders and helped drive 10% year-over-year revenue growth and a 100+ global B2B customer base, with plans to extend NetSuite to inventory and manufacturing.
