Camp Chef Fires SAP, Ignites B2B and B2C Growth with NetSuite

Camp Chef, a manufacturer and distributor of pellet grills and outdoor cooking systems, was struggling to support growing multi-channel dealer sales and direct-to-consumer ecommerce with SAP Business One. Integrating ecommerce platforms with SAP required extensive customization and limited visibility, so the company looked to cloud alternatives and selected NetSuite for its ease of integration and industry capabilities.

Implemented with partner 360 Cloud Solutions in January 2016, NetSuite ERP gave Camp Chef real-time, unified inventory and order data and faster customizations, enabling the company to manage about 1,500 shipments a day across B2B and B2C channels. By mid-2017 B2C sales had already surpassed 2016, broader access to reporting via Saved Searches improved decision-making, and Camp Chef is rolling out NetSuite CRM to handle roughly 80,000 new customers added annually.
