ASICS, the Japan-based apparel and footwear company, sought to accelerate expansion in Southeast Asia by launching subsidiaries in Singapore and India. The company needed an ERP that could be provisioned quickly, operated without a local IT team, integrated with on‑premises financial systems at headquarters, met local tax and regulatory requirements, and reduced total cost of ownership through a two‑tier approach.

ASICS implemented NetSuite OneWorld with a three‑month deployment, enabling launch of the Singapore subsidiary in four months and India in six, while integrating with HQ systems for a single version of financial, order and inventory data. The solution delivered improved regulatory reporting that allowed direct sales in Singapore (replacing a long‑time distributor), better stock visibility and reliable shipping, and real‑time performance monitoring and daily reporting—providing a scalable, repeatable platform for regional expansion.
