AM Signal, founded in 2001, is a Colorado-based distributor of traffic control and intelligent transportation products, selling over 3,400 items from 430+ vendors to municipalities and government agencies across the Southwest. As the company grew, its QuickBooks and Fishbowl systems couldn’t keep up—adding new sales territories, offices and customer approval requirements created complexity that demanded a more robust ERP and inventory solution.
In 2016 AM Signal implemented NetSuite (Financials, CRM, Advanced Inventory, Demand Planning, Work Orders & Assemblies) and used the NetSuite Learning Cloud Support pass to train staff and expand capabilities. The team added workflows and custom records, improved customer communication, sped up sales and contract renewals, and supported roughly 25% growth in the first two years while gaining the visibility and control needed for continued expansion.
