Bass Pro Shops, a leading North American outdoor retailer with 58 stores serving more than 100 million customers annually, aimed to create deeper, locally relevant connections—sharing region-specific fishing and hunting tips, event listings, and gear recommendations. The company needed a simple way for nontechnical store employees to manage their own pages and produce organic, locally focused content, with support from an account manager for the digital transition.

By adopting Oracle Marketing Cloud’s content marketing hub, about 200 contributors produced roughly 170 articles per month, totaling 2,249 articles in a year. The effort drove nearly 920,000 visitors—almost three times the prior year’s traffic—and delivered a 15% click-through rate, proving the approach generated strong engagement and scalable local expertise.
