Arkadin Cloud Communications improves customer onboarding to increase revenue

Arkadin, an NTT Communications company and a global provider of cloud collaboration services, supports over 42,000 customers across 33 countries. Facing a need for a full-scale digital transformation, Arkadin lacked visibility into end-to-end processes, had ineffective measurement of engagement and KPIs, low awareness of productivity tools, and required a simple, consistent onboarding program to improve customer relationships and drive revenue.

Arkadin integrated Oracle Eloqua with a new SmartStart onboarding microsite (covering three products in nine languages) and implemented personalized messaging to reduce email overload. Within 12 months onboarding time fell from four weeks to under six minutes, user adoption rose 10%, welcome emails achieved a 32% unique open rate and 23.4% CTR, and the program generated €1M in net new revenue and €5.4M in net incremental revenue while unifying the global marketing team.
