StepStone Cuts Quote-to-Order Time from 2 Days to 20 Minutes, Boosts Sales Thanks to Globally Integrated Pricing Tool

StepStone Group, a global online job-board business, faced slow, inconsistent quote-to-order processes driven by Excel and Word–based pricing, manual approvals, and complex product attributes across multiple countries. To speed sales and improve pricing visibility, StepStone selected Oracle CPQ and implemented Oracle Configure, Price, and Quote Cloud 14.2 to provide a unified, attribute-based pricing and quoting platform integrated with its CRM landscape.

Using Oracle CPQ, StepStone automated configuration, pricing, approvals, and integration to production, enabling 200 sales staff to manage about 450 outgoing quotes per day and cutting average quote-to-production time from ~48 hours to under 20 minutes. The rollout standardized pricing and discounts, expanded coverage to 153 countries via 50 partners, improved KPI tracking and reporting, and delivered faster customer ordering and improved service levels through CRM and back-end integrations.
