Flowserve Achieves 95% On-Time Quotes and Boosts Quote Throughput 2.5x with Scalable Cloud Configuration Solution

Flowserve Corporation, a global leader in pumps, valves, and seals, faced long quote turnaround times, slow deployment of new product models and features, and the need for a scalable, reliable CPQ system to support sales reps and distributors. To address these challenges, Flowserve selected Oracle CPQ (Oracle Configure, Price, and Quote Cloud) to replace its legacy configuration environment and accelerate quoting and product configuration processes.

Using Oracle CPQ, Flowserve implemented a cloud-based CPQ solution in six months and integrated it with its Oracle E-Business Suite for roughly 3,000 users. The deployment raised on-time quotes to 95% (over 70,000 quotes in eight months), increased quote throughput about 2.5x by cutting quote creation to 5–20 minutes, enabled near-immediate pricing/configuration changes and more frequent feature releases, and delivered scalable, high-availability service for global divisions and distributor partners.
