Cohu moves to Oracle Cloud to boost efficiency, scale quickly

Cohu, a long-established semiconductor equipment manufacturer, faced fragmented back-office systems and processes after growing through acquisitions. To become "One Cohu" and scale more quickly, the company standardized on Oracle Cloud applications—including Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud SCM, Oracle Cloud HCM and Oracle CPQ—using Oracle Integration to replace disparate legacy systems and eliminate third‑party dependencies.

Oracle CPQ and the broader Oracle Cloud suite were implemented (with Inspirage) to unify finance, supply chain and sales processes. The move gave executives company-wide visibility into work orders, invoices, receivables and purchase orders, reduced the number of workflows production managers must handle, enabled earlier capture of supplier quality data, and accelerated integration of acquired businesses—freeing IT from system maintenance to focus on business transformation.
