TORRCO, a family-owned plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen & bath distributor, needed a modern ecommerce platform to better serve B2B customers who expected a fast, B2C-like online experience for researching products, checking inventory, and placing orders. The company partnered with Optimizely and Xngage, using Optimizely’s B2B Commerce/Configured Commerce platform to address gaps in its previous system and support a more seamless digital buying journey.

Optimizely helped TORRCO integrate ERP and PIM data for real-time product, pricing, and inventory updates, redesign the site for easier navigation and checkout, and add account-specific features like order history and quick reordering. The results included a 10% increase in number of orders, a 35% increase in lines per order, and improved internal efficiency and cost savings as teams spent less time on catalog maintenance and content publishing.
