As an online-only business, Home24 faced the challenge of redesigning its website to increase homepage engagement, click-throughs, and ultimately the number of orders without wasting time or development resources on unproven changes.
Using Optimizely, the team A/B tested two streamlined homepage header variations against the original, focusing on navigation, search visibility, and minimal design. The most simplified version (icons for account/service and reduced header content) drove a 5% lift in product searches and a 9% increase in orders per session, producing a meaningful increase in total orders and validating the redesign approach.
