Liftopia, a marketplace for discounted ski lift tickets, rentals and mountain activities, relied on SEM to send highly qualified searchers to mid‑funnel landing pages. The problem: those pages included a search widget and cross‑sell links that distracted visitors from buying the specific resort deal they came for, so Liftopia sought to increase purchases from SEM traffic by simplifying and personalizing the funnel.
