SCA, one of Sweden’s largest companies and Europe’s biggest private forest owner, needed to modernize its website platform while consolidating multiple sites, improving editor experience, and strengthening security and privacy. Working with Optimizely CMS, SCA wanted to move from an on-premise system to a cloud-based, headless solution that could support its growing digital communication needs.

Optimizely implemented a cloud CMS 12 headless architecture with React front-end templates, API-driven content delivery, and integrations with existing systems. The new platform improved Google Lighthouse page speed from 43 to 70 and accessibility from 78 to 98, while also boosting performance on other pages, improving developer separation, reducing direct costs, and enhancing security and privacy.
