PostNord, the Nordic postal services provider, was struggling with an outdated legacy online shop, frequent downtime from DDoS attacks, and rising customer dissatisfaction around parcel tracking and other high-traffic services. To address these issues, PostNord partnered with Optimizely and implementation partner Epinova, moving to Optimizely CMS and later Optimizely Customized Commerce.
Optimizely delivered a cloud-hosted, more secure digital platform on Microsoft Azure with suspicious-traffic alerts, faster deployment, multilingual support, and personalized experiences through Recommendations, Targeting, and Authoring & Layout. The results included improved site uptime, higher customer satisfaction, fewer support calls, faster releases, and reduced incident response effort; PostNord’s stamp shop relaunch also handled 10,000 orders on its first day.
