Neuhaus Chocolates cultivates an indulgent online experience

Neuhaus, the Belgian luxury chocolatier founded in 1857 with 500+ boutiques across 50 countries, faced the challenge of translating its premium in-store experience to an increasingly digital audience. With more younger customers shopping online and demanding information on sustainability, ingredients and provenance, the brand needed to own the digital channel, bridge online and offline experiences, and lift ecommerce performance.

Using Optimizely Commerce and Content Cloud (with partner Delaware), Neuhaus redesigned site content and imagery, launched personalization and email offers, and added an interactive chatbot and omnichannel customer profiles to guide shoppers as if they were in a boutique. The result: stronger customer engagement, measurable uplift in conversion and revenue, a unified online/offline customer view, and richer insights to drive ongoing personalization and growth.
