Libbey streamlines their ordering process and distribution

Libbey, a leading U.S. glassware manufacturer serving restaurants, hotels, healthcare and other business clients, needed to move beyond distributor-driven sales and fragmented spreadsheet workflows. The company lacked a direct digital relationship with its customers and required a modern CMS and commerce platform to enable D2C ordering, personalized experiences for distinct segments (foodservice, hospitality, healthcare), robust search and streamlined order and distribution.

Working with WillowTree, Libbey launched foodservice.libbey.com as the first phase of a company-wide eCommerce framework using Optimizely for its out‑of‑the‑box order management and native Dynamics 365 integration. The new site automated order entry into Microsoft Dynamics, eliminated manual spreadsheet processes, sped development with focused sprints, and added account and list features to simplify repeat ordering—creating a scalable foundation for future digital properties and more efficient ordering and distribution.
