Grant Thornton improves multi-lingual, multi-market site performance

Grant Thornton, one of the world's largest professional services networks, needed to improve its multi‑lingual, multi‑market website built on Optimizely. The site suffered from slow performance (speed scores ~40–50), limited search and language support (including Chinese, Japanese and Korean), and required a secure, centrally accessible gated content area and additional features for global member firms.

Working with Optimizely and partner Niteco, the site was re‑engineered: Google Natural Language was integrated for CJK NLP (sentiment, entity and content analysis), a gated content section and Content Security Policy were added, and search was enhanced with Find Auto‑Boosting and Find Best Bets plus a new Lucene index tied to EPiServer Find to ensure >99% availability. The result: site speed scores rose to over 80, search and gated content access improved and secured, and new features (location/office and case study pages, Marketo connector, email obfuscation, new block types and media access rights) were delivered for global users.
