Case Study: Electrolux achieves rapid multi-market D2C e-commerce rollout with Optimizely

A Optimizely Case Study

Preview of the Electrolux Case Study

Electrolux Asia shifts to ecommerce in multiple markets

Electrolux, the global appliance brand, partnered with Optimizely partner Niteco to move from a B2B-only model to direct-to-consumer across APAC during the Covid-19 pandemic. Needing a fast, low-cost, scalable solution for local markets, Electrolux required a mobile-first eCommerce site for Vietnam that supported secure transactions, region-specific logistics and payments, and integration with existing PIM and ERP systems.

Niteco ran a one-month discovery, designed and built a mobile-first Optimizely Commerce template, integrated PIM/ERP, implemented multiple payment options (including COD and installments), next-day delivery and a 90-day trial, and handled content and SEO. Launched publicly in December 2020, the site recorded over 1 million pageviews in its first month, earned a 97/100 SEO score, delivered strong conversions and positive user feedback, was nominated for an internal Electrolux award, and is being scaled to additional markets with projected annual sales of about $1.1M for Vietnam.
