Blomsterlandet is Sweden’s largest flower and plant retailer, founded in 1989 with 61 stores and an online shop. Facing rising online competition and changing customer expectations, their legacy eCommerce platform couldn’t deliver the speed, responsiveness or content needed to showcase the chain’s gardening expertise, reassure customers about plant shipping, or support new digital services.
Working with Valtech and built on Optimizely Commerce, Blomsterlandet launched a new platform with a React front end and an Integration Hub to unify data across channels. The site was redesigned around customer insights and plant-care content, improving performance and trust in online purchases while enabling new channels (apps, in‑store solutions) and the ability to grow online plant sales and reach new target groups.
